armpit fudge

This morning was another normal day at Our Chalet.  We started with morning meeting at 9:30 and then morning jobs.  Lunch was at 12:30.  Nothing overly exciting happened in the morning!  At lunch Nikki informed us they we were supposed to be receiving a 'program care package' each month, full of snacks and bits and pieces.  Nikki however, only just learned of this so we have got all three months worth of treats in one bag!


Dinner was Cottage Pie and Peas, with Peaches and Cream for dessert.

After dinner I joined Rachael, Alice and Annie in the T-Bar, they were finishing off a puzzle.  We were wasting time until 7:30 when it was time to make Armpit Fudge.

Danielle was running evening program - she was teaching us all to make armpit fudge.  It is the weirdest sensation of putting 'fudge' underneath your arm and smooching it together!

 

 

 

 Here's the Recipe:

1 Table spoon of Butter
1/2 Cup of Icing Sugar
2 Teaspoons of Cocoa Powder
1 Tablespoon of Cream Cheese
1 Tablespoon of Vanilla
                                                            *NOTE : if you don't have cream cheese you can use extra butter

Mix all ingredients together in a zip-lock bag underneath the armpit, until a consistent dark brown colour is made.
