After 21 very long hours aboard the plane yesterday we arrived to a rainy and overcast Glasgow.
After acquiring and loading the hire car we set off to find the hotel... which was interesting considering the road had no reflectors, it was constantly drizzling/pouring with rain and everyone else was flying past us!
After a few wrong turns and a few arguments we found the Clifton Hotel on Buckingham Terrace. A gorgeous old terrace house complete with decals on the ceiling and spiral staircases. By the time we had checked in and hauled our suitcases out of the car up the delightful staircases (more than a few nasty words were spoken at this point!) We were knackered.
And so it was cup of tea time and bed!
